Spain are through to the World Cup final after beating France 2-0 in the semi-final at Dallas Stadium.
Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, and Pedro Porro added a second in the 58th to send La Roja through. Spain edged the shot count 10-14 while completing the win with 51% possession.
It is Spain’s first World Cup final appearance since winning the tournament in 2010. Luis de la Fuente’s side remain unbeaten through the tournament and will face Argentina in New York on Sunday, July 19, for the title.
France’s run ends in the semi-finals. Didier Deschamps’ side will play England in the third-place playoff on July 19 in Miami.
