Don Lemon to Launch 24/7 Streaming Network in Partnership With Swerve TV

LOS ANGELES — Former CNN anchor Don Lemon is launching his own 24/7 television network, The Don Lemon Channel, in partnership with free streaming operator Swerve TV, his media company announced Sept. 4.

The channel, a flagship offering of Lemon Media Network, will be available across linear and streaming platforms. It will feature twice-daily live programs, daily news drops, archival shows and partner programming from independent voices including “The Monique Pressley Show,” “Josh the Progressive,” Michael Fanone and Dr. Frita.

“We built this network on the idea that people want the truth delivered straight without a corporate boss deciding what makes air,” Lemon said in a statement. “Almost 11 million followers later, they are still asking for more. So, we are giving them more. More hours, more voices, and now a channel on their televisions.”

Lemon, an Emmy-winning journalist and bestselling author, anchored prime time at CNN for more than a decade before the network parted ways with him in April 2023. He has since built a large independent audience across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Substack.

“After more than a decade anchoring prime time on CNN, Don has built his own independent network for his more than 10 million followers across multiple platforms,” said Steve Shannon, chief executive of Swerve TV.

Swerve TV, a leading operator of free ad-supported streaming television channels, previously partnered with Scott Galloway on The Prof G Channel and also operates Swerve Combat and Swerve Women’s Sports. Its channels are carried by more than 20 distributors including Amazon Prime Video, Fubo, Google TV, LG Channels, Plex, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Sling, DIRECTV, TCL TVs and Xumo Play.
